Too much to do

I feel like I have too much to do this week.  This stems mostly I think because generally I don't "have" to do more than one or two things a week so when there are real things to be accomplished I get stressed.

  • Monday I went to a new class at the gym (kickboxing) since the regular bootcamp class I attended was moved to T/Th.  I promised the kids I'd take them to the library, but we didn't have time.
  • Tues I was supposed to do the laundry (didn't happen) and was invited to a splash park in Sherman, plus I had my bookclub that night in Denton (don't get to go to gym class). .
  • Wednesday I'm going to try the new Zumba class at my gym, since Patrick will be here to watch the kids.  I'm also doing the laundry since I didn't Tuesday.
  • Thursday I have band in Denton (don't get to go to gym class).
  • Friday has nothing planned at the moment and
  • Saturday we're having a cookout (you don't say bbq in Texas unless you're actually having bbq) with the possibility of lots of people coming.  Maybe only two, but possibly like 20 something, including kids.
However this week I also have to write a talk for church....this takes precedence as I don't want to feel like an idiot in front of our whole ward.  Consequently all of my free time that would be spent paying the bills (which I really should have done last week), cleaning the house (which also needs to be done before Saturday), reading (which makes me not crazy), taking the kids to the library (which makes them not crazy), preparing the songs for primary this week, etc...is taken up with talk writing.  I was hoping it would be done today, but I haven't had much time to work on it, even staying up until 1-2am as I have been.  Bah!  (I probably shouldn't be wasting my time blogging either, but whatever)  Plus I really want to watch the Lady Gaga episode of Glee from this week, but I don't know when I'll be able to.  So those of you with jobs and kids and activities that you do every week don't laugh at me, but I'm stressing out.

Haha. Oh wait, you said don't laugh. Ahem. Sorry you're so busy! No really, that would be busy for me too, I get stressed if I have too many places to go. So did you go to the waterpark then? I should start taking my kids to the library again, but it would be crazy with how Josh runs around.
I did the laundry and folded all the clothes...I started watching a movie on Wednesday mornings so I'd be motivated to fold the clothes then instead of doing other stuff.
I hope you get your talk done. Thats all.

I'm glad I never have to speak in sacrament. I remember when I had to teach Relief Society, for like two weeks before hand I would constantly worry about it and that would make feel stressed even when I had plenty of time. At least now the party's moved to Monday, so you don't have to get ready for that on Saturday and you can work on your other stuff!
